Post-Website Thoughts..

Writing and doing research for this paper allowed me to learn information about my family that I had never known before. I never really cared about why my grandparents moved out to California. I always thought that where they came from was the only important aspect that I could use to relate to. Creating this website forced me to dig deeper into my family history than I ever had before. It was both difficult and fun to make. Difficult because I had to really be creative in the way I presented the information and fun because I envisioned people being as fascinated in my history as I was. I realized that the website would really make me grow as a person. In order for others to be interested in my family's story, I had to be as well; something I never imagined happening in such a short period of time. This project has caused me to fall in love with my family and value them even more than I did in the past.
